Movies in the Park Fundraiser | Cars | Take 2 Creative Camp

Take 2 Creative Camp drove on over to City of Elgin, Illinois Government's Movies in the Park and sold concessions during the movie, CARS!
This was our 3rd time selling concessions during Movies in the Park and it is our biggest fundraiser of the summer. It is a great opportunity for our Take 2 Teens to get out in the Elgin community and share what Take 2 is all about. One of the biggest lessons in Take 2 is teaching our teens how to advocate for themselves and not be scared to use their voices. We had such an amazing evening and we look forward to doing it again!

Take 2 Creative Camp is a summer program at the YWCA Elgin for teens, 12-15 years old. They are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to work on projects such as videos, music, podcasts, and so much more. In the process, they build confidence and use their voices. Special thanks to the Seigle Foundation and Kiwanis Club of Elgin for helping fund Take 2 Creative Camp this summer.
