The critics need to start their own awards. Anupama, Rajeev, Rahul, Raja, Baradwaj, etc. all need to get together and create a critics association, organise these awards and slowly after a few years it'll grow and become prestigious.

I'm sorry but this video barely scratched the surface of "Movies To Look Forward To in 2018." Checkout my list: 1. Padmavat - One of the most anticipated films of 2017 is finally releasing 2. Aiyaary - Neeraj Pandey directs military crime drama and it has Manoj Bajpai 3. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety - Directed by Luv Ranjan who made Pyaar Ka Punchnaama 1 & 2 4. Drive - Tarun Mansukhani returns to the director's chair after 10 years after Dostana + I'm a sucker for Dharma Productions. More often than not... I usually find their films quite entertaining. 5. October - Shoojit Sircar directs Varun Dhawan 6. Raazi - Meghna Gulzar directs Alia Bhatt + Dharma Productions strikes again! 7. Fanne Khan - Same reasons they gave in the video - Aishwarya, Anil, & Rajkumar. Interesting cast! 8. Sanju - Rajkumar Hirani directs Ranbir Kapoor - ENOUGH SAID. 9. Dhadak - Dharma Productions knows how to launch new kids on the block. Student of the Year may not have been a pathbreaking film, but it was sooo much fun to watch! 10. Saaho - Prabhas + I love Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy music + Dharma Productions is co-producing! 11. Gold - Reema Kagti directs Akshay Kumar in a Sports Biopic. I agree with Rahul Desai's dislike for Toilet & apprehension for Padman, but let's not forget Reema's last directorial was Talaash! 12. Sui Dhaaga: Made in India - Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma directed by Sharad Katariya, whose last venture was Dum Laga Ke Haisha. 13. Vishal Bharadwaj directs Deepika & Irrfan Khan 14. Thugs of Hindostan - Amitabh Bachchan + Aamir Khan + I don't need to go on... 15. Super 30 - Hopeless Hrithik Roshan fan still has hope for the man... 16. Zero - Anand L. Rai directs SRK as SRK attempts to make a comeback. 17. Simmba - So... yes, perhaps I have too much faith in Dharma Productions. But I feel like in general... they are good at creating a product of entertainment that really resonates with the audience. So while we have Rohit Shetty directing, I feel Karan Johar will be able to appropriately provide a balance. 18. Gully Boy - ZOYA IS THE BEST! LOVED ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA & LOVED LOVED LOVED DIL DHADAKNE DO. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!!! Less hope, but NOT no hope: 1. Baazaar - Saif Ali Khan in a crime thriller produced by Nikhil Advani... I don't have too much hope for it given Saif's recent track record, but nevertheless I've been a forever Saif fan so I will never lose ALL hope. 2. Bhavesh Joshi - Vikramaditya Motwane & Harshvardhan Kapoor... it could be good, but not certain. 3. Namastey England - I really liked the first one A LOT. I'm hoping Arjun & Parineeti are able to bring back a similar magic. MUSIC is gonna have to be fantastic. 4. Race 3 - Race 2 wasn't that great. The cast has some real oddballs that have not proven successful in the past. But... it's a Race movie & has Salman Khan - so maybe LOL.

I live in the US and I watched "Disaster Artist" in a theater 20 miles from my place due to its limited release and it was totally worth it. James Franco was outstanding, the theater was packed and people gave the film a standing ovation in the end. However, my only suggestion would be to watch the movie whose making this film is about - the 2004 movie called "The Room". You will find it on KZbin itself. Watching Disaster Artist without watching The Room would be futile.

dont know that, but most of the scenes in these movies are poorly lit, cinematographer and light department have no budget it seems :( - Its the same here for this video of Film Companion - look at the lighting and the footage seems to shot hand held with some stabilization added in post :(

Pity the kind of discussions that critics have these days. Just shows the research that goes into reviewing a movie. "That guy came on the stage to take the award.. " Well Sir, that guy is the reason that movie was pretty much made. It is a biographical feature based on the lives of that guy and that guy's friend and how those two met and made that film.

For people bashing Rahul for his unpopular views on neeraj-akshay brand of cinema , you gotto understand between "integrating patriotism/social issue with the movie" and " sermonizing patriotism/social issue in the movie" . It's the same difference between "being honest" and "preaching to be honest" . The former is thought-provoking , the latter just gives an emotional high which lasts not beyond the melodramatic climax .
