I love how this entire movie acts as if the honey bees are the ultimate victims, and how without them pollinating the flowers, all plant life dies. When in actuality they're an invasive species that aren't even native to North America and have a more negative impact to nature compared to other pests.

HEY UH YOU KNOW THAT BEES ARE NOT KILLED TO MAKE HONEY RIGHT...??? Calling it theft is more accurate but also not the most accurate, since good keepers will only take the extra, and if left to their own devices bees just store honey until there is no more room and they need to find a new hive. Bees are also entirely able to abandon a hive and absolutely will if they dont like it or the conditions are bad and seek out new living arrangements. Support beekeepers!

This movie got so many things wrong about bees that I feel personally offended. The movie needs to be remade with all the worker bees being female and all the male bees just chilling with the queen in a massive harem. Also bees have two ways of communicating and neither of them involve the antennae one involves pheromones and the other (specifically about identifying where nectar is) involves the worker bees dancing. None of this really matters so just know that if you want to help bees, fill a dish with marbles and then fill that with water so the bees can drink and plant native flora (preferably early flowering ones) to help support the bees and your eco system

I saw the movie when I was a little kid, dubbed in my native language, I couldn’t understand the puns, the joke or any of the references so the movie ended up being a really boring experience. But I rewatched it a while ago and I can say that it was much more funnier than I remember. Most movies don’t have a problem being translated to another language but the Bee movie has too many English based puns and American references, at least for me, idk if other dubbed versions of the movie was handled better.
