The plot is about a girl 'Gu Sheng Nan' who is a talented chef working at a hotel, but her life takes an unexpected turn when she is mistaken for a vandal by a wealthy businessman named Lu Jin. By chance, Lu Jin arrives at the hotel to discuss a buyout proposal and, to his surprise, finds Gu Sheng Nan working as the chef. Despite being impressed with her culinary skills, he is initially dissatisfied with the hotel's other dishes. Eventually, one of Gu Sheng Nan's dishes catches his attention and he decides to keep the hotel just so he can have her cook for him. As they spend more time together, Lu Jin and Gu Sheng Nan become close, but their relationship is put to the test when he discovers that she is the chef he had been so critical of.
Despite his best efforts, Lu Jin found himself unable to resist the allure of Gu Sheng Nan's exceptional culinary talents. Her ability to create magic with food was something that he simply could not ignore. However, their happy days were numbered. Lu Jin's company abruptly decided to transform the hotel into a different business, which resulted in Gu Sheng Nan losing her job. Devastated and heartbroken, she disappeared without a trace. Lu Jin refused to accept this cruel twist of fate. Driven by his love for her, he embarked on a determined quest to find her. After tireless searching, he finally succeeded in tracking her down. And as they sat together, watching the golden sun dip below the horizon, they both realized that their love for each other was stronger than any obstacle that life could throw their way. I would say that this movie is intriguing and has potential for a romantic comedy. It highlights the tension between the two main characters and their vastly different backgrounds, while also showcasing the unifying power of food and passion. The twist of the main female character being the chef that impressed the main male character adds an interesting dynamic to their relationship. The climax of the story where the hotel is turned into a different business and the main female character is fired is quite unexpected and adds to the drama. However, I think the story could benefit from more character development, particularly for the main female character and more details on how the two main characters end up watching the sunset together. Overall, it's a good start to a romantic comedy film with a unique take on the love story trope.
