Absolutely great. As a native born Virginian with family dating back to just after the time of this movie(Christopher Cormack 1670s arrived in Baltimore from Scotland), I agree with Rhys and Joely's accessment that the film is a celebration of WHOEVER wrote the works. It is one of the most accurate depictions of London during the period; dirty, smelly... yet full of commerce, wealth and creativity. The light was subdued, the people of the time bathed much less frequently, the streets were traversed via boards laid over the running sewers which were streets, so as not to befoul one's clothing or person....excellent
