A train with an F-unit, a steamer, a caboose, & pre-Amtrak passenger cars - LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! Seeing CSX on the tender makes me think of those Marx 027 gauge steam locomotives with Penn Central on the tender. I wonder if the red & gray paint scheme on the R.J. Corman locomotives was inspired by the New York Central's Pacemaker trains?

Can wait to see him running, it's that not many of his brothers and sisters are in as good condition. As 2716 and yes I believe locomotives can have a masculine personality or a femmie personality. Just depends on the locomotive.
@yousafhaque64854 жыл бұрын
He was simply making tea for himself.The lid of teapot kept jumping because of escaping steam.He,in order to save water tried to fix the lid by putting pressure on it.He was surprised that when he applied greater force to keep the lid down it came back with greater force to let steam escape.He was a scientist and harnessed the force of steam.We see the result of his ingenuity all over the world in the form of railways

I’m surprised they didn’t have the steam locomotive infront at the beginning but it is a cool steam locomotive none the less I also do like seeing an f7, that never gets old
@billmorris26134 жыл бұрын
The steam engine is cold so there would be no steam for the whistle or to power the dynamo for the head light.
@MIMRailPics244 жыл бұрын
Bill Morris ok so it’s just for safety that makes sence
@JawTooth4 жыл бұрын
They will eventually get the locomotive running on its own. The virus probably slowed things down though
@MIMRailPics244 жыл бұрын
Ya the would be good after this to do that and repair it that would make a great picture
@billmorris26134 жыл бұрын
Jaw Tooth Yes the CV-19 probably did slow down or stop the rebuild process. I’m the Chief Operations Officer for the Louisiana Steam Train Association ( LASTA ) near New Orleans, LA. Our steam engine, SP-745, is going through her 15 year / 1492 day inspection / rebuild and the CV-19 has slowed the work down to a crawl. But there are a lot of videos of her running out on the general railroad system posted here on YT, and she has been in several movies. A couple of them were major movies, like “The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons” and “Jonah Hex.”
