Moving aboard our new boat! Ep.5

Hi everyone, this week we rush to get the renovations finished as we are moving aboard our new 12m boat. Time is of the essence as we have handed in our notice at our rental and we have Kieran's parents coming to visit. Are we ready?
After a couple of days of settling into boat life with 4 adults on board, we hit Moreton Bay for the first time. We spend the weekend at Peel Island, an absolute gem just 2 hours sail from Manly, Queensland, Australia.
Join us next week as we celebrate our first Christmas onboard and get the engine prepped for our first week away on the boat.

Vacumn storage bags come in pretty handy for both saving space and protecting blankets, etc.

The reason why there's a difference between your templates and finished product is due to the difference in thickness.

Boats really coming along nicely.. good job guys.. sailing mig channel made some videos on making his own cushions and coverings. He says where he bought everything. Think he spent a few hundred compared to thousands by having it done and all his cushions are more comfortable and more durable.

Have you thought of fitting a secondary fuel filter such as that from Diesel Care, it saved our car when we got a load of dirty fuel. They are I think 5 micron and will catch muck before it gets to the motor!

Sweet job on that sink m8 looks great I didn’t think it would work in such a small area I expected it to look out of place but the thickness of the counter makes it work well

Correct, it holds up well, a few coats of a bench top varnish... (Feature episodes) and a shower curtain make a big difference. Thanks for watching!
