i moved to Ireland 3 months ago nad was just forced to come back to my home country just bc of the housing situation. It's not just a Dublin situation... Its Ireland situation. I was in a country side and was staying with friends. I managed to get a job, set up my pps and get a bank account and everything. So if u are thinking about moving- be 100% sure u have accommodation beforehand :). Ps. You do not want to be moving out of any country unwillingly and believe me its not worth it if u can't find accommodation. And sadly even the council won't give a flying fck :(

Seagulls wearing tracksuits? That's one problem I have never come across. And I am Irish. I would disagree with your claim that "If you're slightly demented you move to Cork." Moving to Cork is reasonable. You need to be completely demented to move to Limerick! Regarding summer, EVERYONE in Ireland knows that summer happens between 14:00 and 16:00 on the second Saturday of July. There are at least 38 distinct regional accents in Ireland. Thank you for a fascinating video!

Hi if you are a critical skills employment permit holder I am pretty sure you spouse will have the right to work in Ireland. Not sure about general skills permit. Do some research, and maybe ask an immigration lawyer. Also, she’s not a lawyer so you should consult an expert if you have more questions.

What do you mean? Is your job not on the critical skills list? Or are companies just not interested? A suggestion: if you’re on the critical skills list, offer on your cv to self sponsor and mention that since you’re on the critical skills list, there’s no need for a labour market test.

She’s actually correct, Ireland is the island of Ireland like you said, it is also the official name of what is called the Republic of Ireland, the six counties are officially Northern Ireland and is controlled by the UK. So she got it right.
