The organ fits this church so well, both tonally and appearance wise, that it could have been built for it! Thanks Brent for yet another great video :)

What an absolutely tremendous organ with an equally wonderful story. Fr. Schneider is lucky to have a congregation that has a love for this charming instrument. Maybe someday this organ could easily be featured in an Organ Historical Society Convention if they decide to meet in Kansas City.

What a wonderful story and so good to see a lovely little instrument like this properly restored. Ryan Luckey's patient explanations of what Bedient found in the restoration were fascinating - and how fortunate the church were to work with someone who clearly understood what a compassionate restoration should entail. As always, thanks to Brent and the team for all their work bringing these videos to us.

It’s an arrangement of a piece called “Psalm 19” in English. I think Benedetto Marcello was the composer and it appeared in a book of early music for organ edited by E Power Biggs. I had a copy in the 1980’s.

I think all of us living thru that era had it as a mandatory first collection book. lol Still have and occasionally use mine. Tho to be honest most of it now is so memorized I don’t even bother getting the book out most of the time.

What a perfect fit for this Pfeffer Organ. I am all for 100 % restoration, but I am also a big proponent of making it better than the original if possible and the extra rank extensions, pallets, and hand pump are perfect examples of not really touching the original, but improving the installation

Great installation! Truly a labor of love - the right instrument for the right space.

Sweet, sweet, sweet. Having moved/set up a 1907 I/5 Vogelpohl & Spaeth organ myself (not just once, but twice!) I have a soft spot for these small one manual instruments.

It's as though the organ was made for that church. The appearance blends in well and the sound works well for that size of sanctuary! It is a great video to watch! Thanks!

Loved the video. I grew up going to Trinity Lutheran Church in Scribner. My family farm was about 1.5 miles from the Church. I'm so thrilled the organ has a second life! Thank you for the video!

My grandpa was the organist at Trinity Lutheran Church and played this organ. I enjoyed the video and some day hope to visit St. Ann's to enjoy it's rich tones in person!

Extremely well done documentary of the organ. All involved should be very proud of this work. Praise to the Pastor of St. Ann's for understanding the value in a pipe organ. I'm sure the funding was a challenge too, well done to the parishioners of St. Ann.

Absolutely fantastic, must have taken you guys years to learn what you know now, I am an organ lover, like my late Dad was, mostly the Hammond B3 with Lesley, Wurlitzer and other cinema organs, but also a lover of the great pipe organs, its just great to know that there are organs being restored, a well done job. Good luck in all your future restorations. Rich UK

I have to ask, what was the piece played from 6:45 to around 7:30? I had only heard it once before over a decade ago and haven't heard it since until now.

Wonderful work, and a great job documenting it. I’m curious about one thing, you have the organ backing up against an outside wall and next to a window. Is that going to present problems with seasonal temperature and humidity changes?
