Beautiful home. Something I learned when moving into my first house, don't rush to buy new furniture because you need to fill a space, you'll end up buying pieces you don't actually like too much. When you find the right decor, you'll know.

Definitely dump your ice a couple times if your fridge is new or hasn't been used in a while. It should fix the issue! You can get covers for your outdoor furniture to protect it. That should help. What a beautiful backyard. So much space and love all the little areas.

As a temporary option to close off the sink area in the bedroom you could hang some linen drapes - which means you can close it off at night etc but open in the day/when you need light x

Leave the dining table in the kitchen for every day and “formal” meals. Use the space where the bar is as another “living room” for everyone to relax and hangout with friends, etc.

you are so right morgan! i have a more flexible WFH schedule than my husband so im usually the one dealing with people who come to deliver/repair/install/etc the 8 million things you need with a house. and it's exactly what you said no one has ever been "mean" or "rude", but i can always tell when the guys are trying to politely wiggle out of something or get me to roll over on something they'd said they do. I've had to get more comfortable with being firm. Not mean, but FIRM. It's been about a year now and I'm way better at it, but the first few times I definitely let people get away with things that I wouldn't now

Omg I just wanted to let you know about the ice in your fridge! If you got a new fridge you need to dump out several rounds of ice and maybe a gallon of water before you can ingest it! The white stuff will go away after dumping a few times.

Yes! Shop around for quotes because for HVAC the larger National company wanted to replace everything claiming my ducts were too small. A local father/son that was recommended to me told me the duct size was fine and quoted me about half to completely replace the inside/outside units. Also, for the backyard it’s better to pull the weeds than spray anything and risk killing the flowers!

It’s just the sinks so I don’t mind it & think another door opening inward would make it too cramped 😅 plus darker & I want the natural light to still reach the mirror for getting ready 🤍 thank you!!

@@marineleap absolutely! I would do a half wall integrated with the bench and all in the same color to minimize the visual impact but still being a statement pice. And with a rectangular table because of the dimensions of the space

I’m a CA native and am shocked whenever someone moves to CA, especially Los Ángeles where I live now. Crime, bums, traffic…only good thing is the weather and beach. Good luck California is horrible

She’s been there for years, also the opportunity in LA for creators/influencers is endless. She’s also from NC which is where I live and yeah, beaches and mountains are great but sprinkle in the crime mixed with a dash of homophobia and racism and you have North Carolina. I personally can’t wait to leave.

I definitely agree that you should stand up for yourself especially in the case with closing on the house but not everything is a fight. The guy accidentally made a hole that would take a few minutes to spackle which you already had. I don't think that it was necessary to make him spackle the hole. It gives off a bit of Karen vibes. Sometimes it's better to choose kindness.

Never did I say it was a fight! I said I was friendly the whole time and so were they lol. We used all the spackle at the old house & don't have a way to reach the ceiling and they had their ladder here and were trying to put a plastic cap over it instead which didn't look good. We were very kind & the point is as young women unfortunately some ppl will try to do the bare minimum b/c they don't expect you to accept it & it's okay to speak up like a man would 🤷‍♀But again it wasn't a fight at all lol
