Suggestion. When you move your egg layer panic then skater some cheap wheat seed over old area for more foliage when you use it again.

Good idea. We do that for the pigs but never thought about it for the chickens.

It's fun to watch the baby chicks as they begin to explore the space to peck and scratch. Amazing how they know what to do without being taught.

We do love chickens. They have been an important part of our farm from the beginning.

I do love that tractor! It looks very simple to make and move.

We do too. They are really an effective tool for raising chickens out on pasture. We’ve used one as a piglet brooder too. Was talking to a lady who visited our farm and she said it would make a great fort for her kids!!

Thanks. We were trying to use our infrastructure that we already had for a new purpose. Seemed like a good idea. Appreciate you watching! Please share with others who may be interested.

@@SheratonParkFarms If you get a chance we would like for you to check out our channel and hopefully you will like our channel too. I hope that you will enjoy some of the things that we put on KZbin and if you do please let others know about the two crazy people that you know on KZbin. Our daughter also has a new channel (Ivy Acres Homestead) and it is a lot of fun watching what her and our 4 grandchildren get into on their homestead. LOL Until next time may God bless your days as He always does ours!

Super nice set up.. could you not just leave a few in there to live? You could put nesting boxes in there and just walk in every day and collect them

You can but we have a bigger mobile coop they go in out on pasture.
