This was the first year of fires in California where they actually impacted people I know. My bf’s mom’s house was VERY close to burning down from the creek fire but we were able to go see it last week, and I had never been happier to just see a house standing there. It’s such an unfamiliar relief so I can only imagine how you guys felt getting to come back home with the animals. What a blessing 💜

Girl you were making me emotional too, but for good reasons. Hearing you talk about cleaning and washing everything in your home really put into perspective how even though your house and yall survived you are left with the aftermath and anxiety and left to clean up. And how it just puts life in such a raw real perspective. Everyone was affect in one way or another and nobody will return to a "normal lifestyle". Hopefully it'll put love and open peoples eyes that a lot of the times all that matters is your life, your loved ones and of course the planet's beautiful creatures, that cant fend for themselves in times like these. Especially in quarantine and watching you do small things like gardening and bulk grocery shopping and getting bagels like I truly live for it. When you were talking about cleaning your house and vacuuming and doing laundry I was like "Yes, yes, YES!!!" Also loved the family content on your last vlog! When I worked at a hair salon ppl would come in and take the hair clippings for their garden. Apparently it deters deer from eating the crops. The hair stylists didn’t mind doing that it was super easy and people swore on it! Maybe try giving a local hair salon a call and see if u can come over at closing for some hair clippings to solve that deer problem!

My partner quit her job today because she realized how short life is and how you have this go at it, we have no clue wtf is going to happen but with all we've been through and what we've learnt we know things could be worse.
