Congrats on the new apartment! I also recently quit my job and am searching for my next job and looking for an apartment in Tokyo. Were you able to move in without having a job? I'm worried that I won't be accepted for an apartment if I'm unemployed.

I passed the screening before I left and I was also doing real estate so I think it worked a bit easier for me…if you have an offer letter from new job you can pass the screening or some apartments will allow not having a job but with enough savings:)! I hope you will find your new apartment soon!
