I prefer a lobby-dash rather than a to-door-dash… security is becoming an issue and so it sounds to me like this place is actually taking an extra step to keep their residents safe. From Dallas. If you’re into the arts, downtown is a good option. Always something to do, close to the design district, and lots of good restaurants. Plus not too far from uptown. If you’re looking for where “we” are, we be spread out anyway but you can also find us downtown and uptown on weekends for brunch or day parties. Downtown is a lot safer than it used to be. Just don’t move to deep Ellum or the strip near fair park. That’s a part of downtown that’s a bit more dangerous.
