I commented recently on how I loved your new studio space Jess (when you were doing the collab) its awesome. But I didnt realise you were also at the beach..how special is that. You are so lucky. Im 69 and its always been my dream to live on or near the beach...its on my bucket list 🤭 cant wait to watch pt 2 but its 1am in Western Australia so Im going to have to wait. Omg what I would do to have that view when I paint!!! I have the same problem in my old studio but Ive changed into my basement which has a huge window and a sliding door next to it. Ive put my desk down there and it took a very long time to move my supplies. Now I have a view of a prairie. Have a great time in your new studio and enjoy every minute of it!!

Hullo Jess! I actually started part 2 first! Yeah I am a very new subscriber. I am wondering if you moved to a new living situation? Did you have a sunroom in your home that you moved into? Do you have a new renting situation for the studio? This new studio looks like a dream come true! I opened several business retail spaces with studio space and maintaining a workflow and income stream was so difficult to do! I had to fold up and move back “home” many times. Working from a bedroom studio space is how I worked the majority of my art life! Since retiring I work in my home and I have a computer room and we turned our dining area into a studio space, this is where I create art in traditional methods! Ok back to part 2!

I've always wanted a studio with lots of natural light, and I could make one by putting a wall seperating two tiny bedrooms down and adding bigger windows, but it is a big commitment when you start to rebuild a house.
