it’s probably just bc i’m american but this dorm is to die for😭 single room, lots of light, not only not a communal bathroom but one you don’t even share with roommates or another dorm? god i wish

At the moment Greater Manchester is in a “local lockdown” with stricter rules , but where the uni is isn’t ... just make sure you take care of yourself when you come and you should be fine☺️x

Hello!! With Manchester it really depends , they go though offers at different times but I found them to be quite quick with mine as I was an early applicator but my friends one took ages x

I heard that majority of students in University of Manchester are Chinese. And is that true? Someone said that the percentage of British students is less than 30 percent there.

There are a lot of Chinese students but I wouldn’t say it’s only 30% british , there are a massive variety of students though!!

@@catsmith2648 Do you have friends who study Computer Science in this university? I’m applying to study this subject, but I’m not fond of a class where majority of students are Chinese. I know in Business School more than 80% of students are Chinese. That’s not cool at all. So I’m eager to know the situation in department of Computer Science.

Most people I know that do computer science are white but on every course there will be international students no doubt but not only Chinese , a lot of middle eastern students and European international students x

Ngl I sort of went off of reviews I’d heard , there isn’t too much info out there on accomodations at Manchester which is why I sort of wish there would have been more videos out last year to help me choose xx

Hi, Im going to study in UoM two months later and I'm struggling with making the decision of the accommodation. I saw ur accommodation introduction video and that is great and detailed!!! Would u mind to tell which sort of room u live in iQ Wilmslow Park? Bcuz I found that there are lotta different options in this building. Do you know the difference between Silver En-suite, Silver En-suite plus, Gold En-suite and Gold En-suite plus? Appreciate it!!!!! student

I lived in the silver en-suite , not going to lie I’ve been to flats that have other rooms and those themselves aren’t too different , the kitchens are slightly fancier but not a massive difference so I would say it depends on your budget , most of the more pricier flats end up empty so you may have less flat mates too , I hope this helps !! If you have any more questions about Iq then I would be more than happy to answer x

Thanks for ur replying! Do u think the size of the wardrobe in silver en-suite enough? Bcuz I found the one in gold en-suite is a little bigger and yours on the video is divided by 2 parts. Secondly, someone my friends who studied in UoM told me this location is kinda dangerous and some reviews on Google are not really satisfied with the facilities. How do think iQ wilmslow park’s overall quality so far? 😅 thanks for ur help!!

Noooo! I wouldn’t consider it dangerous at all, just need to make sure your room is locked at night as there are some issues with the door. I am a girl who has a lot of clothes and the wardrobe has 3 holes on one side, a big one at the top and a rack for jackets and that was plenty for me, reception isn’t the best and kind of pointless most the time being completely honest ! :)
