I think we all like the creative thinking in your aquarium house design. It is inspiring and very educational. Fish are great and we still love seeing them, but I love watching your shows to be inspired to know how to care for these fish to look as beautiful and healthy as your fish. Everyone shows their fish, but few have the creative and innovative methods of construction and fish care as your channel.

I love what you guys are doing at the rescue. Its amazing being able to see all the different types of fish that are in the hobby. But you also show all the work involved in keeping large fish species. I have accidentally bought fish that I wouldnt be able to have room for as they got older. Wish I would of had better information before I bought those fish. Had a bacterial outbreak and lost all the fish I had at that time. Now I research fish before I buy them and purchase according to the size of aquarium its going to live its entire life in. Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing these new sumps and tanks up and running full of fish. 👍

Because people like unedited videos that are real. But I also agree just put out what you do and you will always have ups and downs just like with your rescue, not everyday is the same. I bet the videos with variety do well. A little fish, a little vlog, a little work. Jerry is a fan favorite, so showing him do his thing with the fish and share his knowlege is always good. Everyone loves feeding vids, including prep, like cutting and preparing feed. Feeding puffers and fly rivers (do you ever feed blueberries, grapes, or bananas?) is always a hit. Staying on a specific, less featured fish longer - like my big eye carp :), rather than just swinging around and rushing through all of it. Also, storytime. We like when you talk about the past and how it all began and grew.

Big Rich. We appreciate your originality! To watch the process and to be able to learn from your happy accidents. It’s the part of the journey that we don’t get to see from others. It’s always perfect tanks and they’re already done and get a tiny trim… then you’re here like: hold my beer and watch this! If anything cut back on some editing and go easier on yourself. We love yall regardless of how often we get to watch.
@Bobbybruner17 күн бұрын
I think people are interested in the mechanics of the fish room itself. The engineering behind the filtration and the sheer mass of the tanks is the most impressive thing about this rescue imo. The size of the fish is just a bonus. We can all see big fish at zoos and aquariums but not all aquariums are as big as OFR. That's what makes me keep coming back and watching the videos. Also don't acknowledge the haters in every video... everybody knows the better you are at things the more haters you will have.

I like a good variety in the videos. Give a little tour/update (New fish, inquired ones, star child fish lol). Show a little feeding and give a tank update. Don't just focus each video on one specific topic. Can have a main focus and highlight that but bring other aspects into it. Like focus the backyard pond, discuss the filtration, feed the koi and paddlefish. Then a recap on the other projects going one 1-5 minuets on those things broken up into the video. Also on that note not one complaint on how you do the videos now just some possible ideas.
@oilucky117 күн бұрын
Maybe a video or the outside pond or inside pool when its bright and clear so we can see the different attitudes of the fish make it like 10 min of just that

Hey Big Rich DON'T worry about the nay sayers. Just keep doing what your doing. I know everyone wants to be #1 but theres ALOT of competition out there. I believe that most people, myself included, really enjoy seeing the fish. I would enjoy seeing each and every fish that you have. And take your time filming them so we can get a really good look at them. And don't worry about the length of the video. Or do a 2 part video. I would enjoy getting to watch them swim around for a few minutes. I hope this suggestion helps you even if just a little. Thank you for everything that you do for us. TEAM OFR. 🥳👍

Contextually we are more interested in logistics and running of the facility because we all have fish rooms, fish room issues, plumbing issues, quarantine issues, big fish, small fish, concerns about moving tanks and stands and yes we love fish too. I have always gravitated to your channel for THAT... and not ginormous 67 foot fish. I made a mistake of keeping a 22 inch pacu in my 300 gal. I had tons of cichlids for 10+ years. I now keep guppies mainly. I have no need for a red tail cat fish or a giant gourami, certainly not arowana but looking at how you keep all those fish... I see how I can take that and scale it down to my needs. I have 6 75 gal tanks. 1 300 gal tank + filtration room with another 500 gals in it. In my next house I plan to have tens of thousands of gallons of fish tanks so I keep coming back and learning from how you guys do things. Same reason why I watch aquarium domain. He builds giant tanks and plumbing and all this stuff. Do I want to keep a 6ft reef shark? No. But the building and repairing process is super duper educational. I love when you guys talk about fish too because I learn things I did not know before.
