Looking good man. I was going to ask if you have any trouble with birds bothering your fish but I guess the screen lids would eliminate that issue anyway.

Thanks Daniel! Yeah so many things here in Florida to watch out for when breeding fish outside.

Insect larva is worse. Look up dragonfly and beetle larva as they can decimate guppy fry in no time.

Adrian HD who breeds Endlers uses a single fancy goldfish in his outdoor tubs to get rid of/prevent tadpoles infestations. The fancy goldfish are slow enough to not be able to get Endler fry but get the tadpoles, so I assume they would be too slow for guppy fry too.

That’s actually a really good idea! I think I’m going to try that with one of the tubes and see what happens. Is it a particular gold fish or does it not matter.

@@RLCAquatics The most important thing is that it is a double tail fancy goldfish. Single tail/comet/feeder goldfish will be too fast and could gobble up guppy fry too easily. I also assume the fancy goldfish should be big enough to easily eat the tadpoles when they're small.

In the red lava rock tank, do you have a substrate, or is it just the lava rock on the bottom?
