I just commented on another video asking if she’s looked into bmi and exercise, as these are backed by research. I truly believe that because my menstrual cycle was not good until I gained weight. (I wasn’t on any diet but was underweight at 12 years old)

I do all these things and guess what, still not pregnant. In the end none of this is in your control, you think it might be but it’s not. Comments like these are hurtful because it implies that it’s the woman’s fault for her own fertility issues- that if she just “relaxed” more she would be able to conceive. It doesn’t work that way. Please keep comments like that to yourself.

The Bible talks about having a "thorn in the flesh." Maybe your stuggle is just that... a thorn in your flesh. And honestly, we all have one. As I'm writing this post, I'm thinking of mine too. We may lack that one thing we want in our life on Earth, but if we have him, we dont have to worry about that because in the end we have it all - we have salvation through him and eternal life through him. Whole heart goes out to you. I had the opposite fertility problem… I would get pregnant all the time but loose them over and over. After 6 losses my mental health was a mess! All of the well intentioned advice can be overwhelming… you are doing a good job, so keep doing what works for you and your family ❤️ And keep eating cookie dough 🥰!

I myself can’t understand what you are going through but I am waiting on my spouse like you said. God has worked amazing miracles in my life. I had endometrial hyperplaysia was scheduled for a d and c operation, the progesterone i had been taking didnt work for over a year, i gave it up to god i wanted to get better but i didnt want an operation, after all the procedures id been through and suddenly the hyperplaysia cleared up and i didnt need the operation and now im hyperplaysia free. I cant explain how crazy the miracles are if you give it up to god.

I’m of a few that doesn’t like children (maybe it’s cuz I’m a guy idk but even my 3 sisters have no aspirations on becoming mothers and they’re in their mid 30’s) so seeing others go through this I really don’t get. We had same comments about trusting God and not go through fertility treatments. But I 100 percent believe that God is still in control even through modern medicine, so even with treatments, God is still making the decision/plan and the timing. We tried for 4 years and honestly feel like we were blessed at the exact time that was perfect. Stay positive. And I know He will show you in time your path. Wish you all the best.

I like to look at it this way - God gave Dr.'s their gift of helping people get pregnant who aren't having success the natural way. We all have gifts from God, and fertility Dr.'s are no exception. They are there for us to utilize - gifted from God!

I have lots of thoughts about the whole trusting God vs getting medical help God answers prayers in a lot of ways (how often do we limit his capabilities?!). Have folks ever thought that God works through doctors to heal and answer prayers? Also, as anyone who has gone through IUI/IVF will tell you…every single thing from a science perspective can be perfect and it still doesn’t work. Why? God is the author of life. It has to be his timing!

I personally can’t mention that I believe in God. I am a skeptic. But I can’t denay that having a belief system is psychologically relaxing as well. Trust to something or praying may have a positive effects on some people. You also share your own life on social media, happy or not. It does bum me out to hear that you’re getting comments regarding choosing to get treatment “so soon”. God teaches us an intelligent faith and yes we consult Him in our decisions. But he allows doctors and medical advancement for a reason. So it is not a “sin” for you to seek treatment. In my humble opinion, I think it is more a sin to not do anything and then time later resent God because you’re frustrated that you didn’t try to get help sooner. You’re on the right track and there will be glory to God in your story, because you belong to Him. Stay strong! ❤

In the end, no person has authority over you❤. And if medicine was a bad thing, then why does it exist? Not to test us, to heal. Churches will shape a person's mind when the truth is held within us all. Knowing that, everything about our beliefs is personal instead of it being a club. I'm so sorry that people are telling you seeking fertility treatment is not trusting God. That's so not true or biblical! You can trust God with your situation but still seek help, ultimately it's in God's hands but you can still help your situation while being fully surrendered to him. Regardless of any fertility treatment or not, God is still going to choose the time and method by which you get pregnant, He already has and you can fully trust Him in this process while still making decisions for your health. I don’t get the hate you received regarding fertility treatment. Although He is the healer of all healers, he put doctors on earth for a reason. I have endometriosis and will most likely need some form of fertility treatment to conceive. It’s a medical condition and I strongly believe that if God wants me to get pregnant naturally, he will. If he wants me to get medical help, he will guide me in that direction!

I believe that God created doctors and medicine for a reason. We are here to be in community with each other and help each other. He has given each of us special talents that we can use to serve Him and others. So I think the migraine thing and seeking treatment for every other medical issue is totally valid. That being said the Bible teaches us that God is the one who opens and closes the womb. We see that clearly with Sarah and Abraham. He is the creator of life and no human being is born without Him. I think that’s where most Christians are coming from, but at the end of the day seeking treatment is between you, your spouse, and God. And if God is putting it on your heart to do treatment and it feels right go with it. The Bible also teaches us that God is a gentlemen. He knocks at the door of our hearts. He’s not just going to barge into your life and start making changes and testing you for no reason. Those who accept the one true God and have opened their hearts to Him will have trials and tribulations meant to grow you and prosper you. So yes many people will get pregnant whether they mean to or not, but you are a Christian, you are His child. I also wondered why as a Christian woman were you looking for fertility treatment when your mindset should be that God provides a baby for you. I am not Christian and as I thought more about that in my belief system, I would be like well someone with my beliefs and someone who doesn’t believe in God should treat infertility as a medical problem that shouldn’t be any different to someone that is Christian. I realize the double standard that I was having because you’re Christian over anyone else and that’s not fair.
