Maybe turn your guestroom into an office/guestroom. Get a murphy bed or a good quality sofabed. Put a desk for editing videos. Use as a filming room.

The aesthetic that you so seem to be leaning towards is what we call in the UK cottage garden chic or shabby chic lots of ditsy florals and pastel colours with vintage style frames and borders etc, I used the same style in my sewing room mostly built around sage/Mint greens and pink , it’s a very calming homely feeling vibe ❤

I love thrifting also but I will tell u to be very careful buying wall decor and artificial plants and even furniture such as tables and lamps , etc . Bed bugs live in those also! Hobby lobby is the place to buy your florals and green plants. Can’t wait to see your new apartment all decorated !

Ooooh I’m so excited for you Emma! I loved my first apartment. I was 20 when I moved out and into my own place. It was in downtown Kirkland, Washington. It was a little one bedroom, with a breakfast nook and a balcony overlooking the downtown waterfront. My mom and friends helped me decorate it and I loved it because it was all my own stuff. It’s a big step, getting your own space! I hope you enjoy it! ❤
