Don't you just love those 5 minute jobs that end up taking 5 hours out of your time, lol P.S. back in the day when my uncle owned dump trucks, backhoes and road graders in garage working on them we used to use kitty litter for any oil spills, works great and a lot cheaper than what you are using to just sweep it away in the garbage.

Story of my life. If need to just move some tractor out of the way, say 2min "job", i have to start by fixing my tools, after i have searched them for some two hours, yeah then fix them some 5 hours and then i can begin the engine rebuild of that tractor because of course the crankshaft is broken just then. So.. after some week or two of 200h of work, i get to move it that 5 meters out of the way. This goes for everything. lol.

i just started watching your videos and they are great. I think that your cause of bringing light to the farming community to the world of social media is a great idea. The main reason i am commenting on your video is because i am sure that you paid a small fortune for the hose, why not make it yourself? There are many company's that would sell you all you need to make the hoses for your tractors. We actually have a setup where i work since we cannot afford to be down for a few hours as a shop makes another.

Moving snow using a heated cab, takes all the challenge out of snow removal. We had one of our local farmers who was paid $100 an hour, to blow snow for the county. His IH tractor with the hydrostatic transmission, was perfect for blowing snow. Never had to slip the clutch hitting big snowbanks. A lot of farmers destroyed their clutches and transmissions blowing snow. Some JD tractors used bushings in reverse gear, that did not hold up to backing up all day.

Shouldn't JD take back the hose they improperly resized and not charge you extra for the 2nd hose? You brought them the hose for sizing, it was their job to use whatever hose and connectors they had to replicate the hose, if they failed to do that, well then they shouldn't charge you for it.

Here's a coincidence for ya. I stopped over at my dad's house yesterday and helped him clear the snow (he's 83 now so doesn't mind a little help). Dad used his 18 horse New Holland, with a blower on the front, while I climbed on his new John Deere 30 horse with a bucket on the front. Well wouldn't you know, it started spraying hydraulic fluid from a line on the bucket. I hopped off and found the line came loose. A couple turns of the wrench and all fixed up.

Degelman makes a nice loader mounted snow pusher and what's nice about them is if you start having traction problems in deeper snow you can curl The Pusher back and pick up on it some and you will actually be in a weight lifting the snow which will put traction on your front end and you'll be able to push a lot I would put a strong recommendation on getting a snow pusher

Those hoses can be fun for sure!! We just finished a 28' grain box with a front mount telescopic cylinder. We used 1.5" hydraulic 4 strand hose from the pump to the valve and then to the cylinder. It took everything I had to get those ends on. Great video again man, would love to see one of our grain boxes on your farm one day :)

Don't be misconstrued. The size of the hose DOES matter. Just ask any woman that knows how to tell the truth. LMFAO The rest of 'em are only around for mechanical work or cash flow. The women, I mean. The tractors could care less. They're always loyal and dedicated to work.

We just got this today. Get some big snows here too. We got a JD loader tractor with a blade on the back. Put a heat house on it a few yrs ago. Don't have to take as many warm up breaks anymore! Sally& Dave, here in Illinois.
