Aftermarket swivels will typically raise the seat 1.5"... You can find lower profile swivels but will still raise you 3/4". I suspect the factory swivels do not raise the seat. If you find the 3/4"-1.5" too much (I did) there are low profile seat bases out there to lower you back down. Just depends on what you like and how much money you're willing to throw at it ... good luck!
