With a team of over 30 foreign and Ukrainian instructors, TDI is a full-service military training and equipment organization that has already trained more than 1500 Ukrainian servicemembers in everything from basic soldiering skills, communications, Anti-Tank warfare, intelligence, offensive and defensive drone piloting and advanced TCCC and Team Medic courses.
The founder, John, has been literally all over the world delivering combat medicine in several hotspots, including Syria and Myanmar. A few years ago he joined the Ukrainian Marines alongside Shaun and Aiden (which is how we met) and at the start of this invasion found himself in Bucha. But that's a story for another time!

Great interview. I really admire what John has done and is doing, especially concentrating on the medical side of things. It really shits me when people call people like John "mercenaries" - it really demonstrates the ignorance of the general public's understanding of conflict, even after 20 years or so of extensive use of contractors by our own countries in Iraq, Afghanistan etc. That level of annoyance gets even higher when they are talking about someone like this who is obviously ideologically involved in the conflict they are serving/working in. Re AFV recognition the Russian airborne infantry combat vehicle is the BMD. The BRDM is a 4/8 wheeled (4 wheels normally but has 4 wheels that can be lifted or dropped as required) vehicle. The BRDM's main rolez are reconaissance and anti tank , but I think there may be other variants, e.g. command and light SAM. The BRDM is armed with heavy MGs e.g. 14.5mm and on the AT variants ATGWs.

@@willyOAM People have cured cancer with mistletoe injections, and there was a desperate American cancer patient, who ate dewurmer pills for dogs, which cured him. Hi, someone should translate the 8 hour video presented here in this comment into Ukrainian language and into Russian language. For total intel on Putin watch the 8 hour KZbin documentary "The Swiss Beast - Home of the Devil; Part 7 Switzerland's Sleeper Agent Putin" on KZbin channel "HomieLand Sickurity" on the powers behind the screens explaining the endless lies of our leaders and their Pharaonic Swiss origins giving all the orders out of the Alps, where Putin has all his money in a SwiSS bank, and where he has his Ruskie girlfriend Alina Kabaeva together with their two Putin kids in SwiSSyland.

I am really impressed with this Gentleman! What a great interview! The answers he gave when asked a question were very intelligent and insightful. Also, when he spoke about rescuing the dogs and taking care of them along with his cats during all of this insanity really shows what a wonderful humanitarian he is as well. I am really impressed with this young man and I hope there are many more like him in this crazy world we are living in!

thank you for documenting a wonderful and fascinating soldier. Also just wow. what a story, and I would hope an inspiration for other young people. You can do something with your life and so much of his life was helping other people, training, medical, hospitals...so much was this was not "fighting" but caring.

Very clear delivery. No bravado or bloating of his tail, just facts and his recollection. The part I find most admirable is that he is unwilling to engage in the propaganda game. When he spoke about the Russian check point he traveled through he just gave his experience without the need to embellish or discredit the Russian solders he encountered. His delivery was very British military. Calm, concise, with courage and conviction. The places he has worked in and adventures he has had would make a great book. Hope he makes it. Crack on brother. Stay low , move fast.
