I love the split second moments when you see a member of your family making faces at the cameras, or laughing with each other during the work.
@joshuareynolds52194 жыл бұрын
Glad you liked those moments, I found them funny too especially because I wasn't always working with my family and would see the footage later. I'll admit if I were to make this video again I would have probably edited those out, but I am a bit more of a perfectionist now. Back when I made this video, I was 15 and had 0 subscribers so I would describe this video as being a bit more carefree than my recent videos.

Lol that is probably true. I did clean a lot of the house and I recorded everything I did. However my parents and sister did do a lot also, but some of the time I didn't know they were cleaning to set the camera up, or had the camera busy filming myself. I sometimes had two cameras going during the really busy days, but i didn't film necessary all of what my parents did so it looks like I did a lot more.

We are a family of 4 so it is hard sometimes to get rid of stuff, and all of us have accumulated way too much over the years. I always ran into the problem of thinking that everything is useful for something, but I haven't opened over half the boxes I packed so that stuff wasn't necessary after all. Good luck on your cleanup process!

That's very true, we did have some sleepless nights. The process shown in this video was just getting the house ready for the realtor to show it, and I remember on days the house was being shown I would just throw everything from my room in the closet and hope nobody opened it. Once the house actually sold and we had a move out date, it was a bit more stressful but with the date constantly in the back of our minds we were able to finish everything, as I show in part 2 video.

How do you find something when you have so much stuff? Asking for a friend.
@joshuareynolds52194 жыл бұрын
That's a very good question actually. With items we use every day, we usually have specific locations and know where to find all of that stuff such as dishes, clothes, phone charger, or whatever else is important. In our new house it's a bit different, but in our previous house there was so much space that we would just store junk everywhere sometimes without knowing what it is. For all that other stuff, the truth is we can't really find something we need. However I've realized that if a box is not opened in a number of years it's probably not necessary to keep. Things are slightly more organized at the new house but we still have an entire room of our garage full of boxes never opened after the move and if we need to find something it usually requires scheduling out part of the day! I recommend not letting things get to this point but it's a great way of learning what items are actually important.
@millcitymercantile4 жыл бұрын
wait... there's more stuff in the attic?!?
@joshuareynolds52194 жыл бұрын
Yes there is... At least in this video. Now that we're on a farm a lot more of our stuff is used frequently and we have less sitting around as junk. Of course we still have farm junk like the usual broken down lawn mower and stuff, but we got tools, fencing supplies, fluids for vehicles, animal supplies, scrap lumber and countless other things which help to force the reduction of unused junk, which you can see in my more recent videos
