Aww, I just want to give Neema a big hug. She reminds me so much of myself when I first moved abroad a few years ago (though I came as an adult for further studies). Someone once told me that the first year would be the hardest, and they were right. My advice to her would be to be kind to herself and give herself grace during this adjustment period. I used to HATE the cold weather, and now winter is my favorite season! ☺

Norah will shine.. She is intelligent and she has been given room to thrive. I remember a certain video where she was expressing how shocked she was about the expectations in school such as completing alot of notes and while she was the best she faced lots of competition. Iam a teacher in Kenya and i have taught a National school and honestly i feel every school going child has their own potential but our schools are coined somehow to favor only A's. Iam glad that she gets to fully thrive without feeling overwhelmed to cram notes and not fully explore their full potential. ❤
