Moving To A Small Town In Sweden - Packing Vlog

The time has come to say goodbye to our student apartment in Gothenburg, and pack up our lives to move to the east coast. Sweden is a beautiful country, and we feel so lucky that we get to explore a new part of it. We are also super excited to start renovations, and share that entire journey with all of you… but first, we need to pack all of our stuff up before the moving truck arrives.

A little about us:
Morgan is from the USA and Will is originally from Sweden. We met while working together in Germany in 2018 and have ever since tried to find a place to call home. In January of 2022 Morgan finally received a positive decision on her residency application in Sweden, so for now we know where we will call home. We look forward to share with you the challenges and differences between our cultures, and how it works when they meet in our relationship. We very much love each other, but do we love everything about where we are from? Is Sweden as good as everyone says, and is America more than all of its stereotypes?

Something we do here when we change stuff in a rented place is to just ask the owner if he wants them changed back. Those door knobs were great and lights etc. The owner might be ok with them and even like them and you can always ask for a reduced last payment or something for it. Just giving ideas... not that you are not gone from there by now, but still... I'm glad you are moving! Very very exciting!!! 😎😇🦌🌲

It's better weather in Norrköping just now, a real spring feeling +15°C and sunny. Anyway, for your renovation good tools is 100% for a great result. You have Bauhaus, Jula, Biltema, Byggmax in Norrköping, all in the north side of the town.

Morgan, I have super brittle nails and not sure this is a solution as much as a way to "mask" it, but I started applying gel nails. Got a starter kit on amazon with the basics like a few colours, base and top coat, nail prep and uv lamp etc, and ... now I'm addicted. If you haven't, maybe you wanna try something like that?💅🏻 So exciting with the new house! Congratulations!!🎉

Did you know that Swedish has a word for that unpredictable weather that can give you all four seasons in just a few hours, and that typically happens in April? The word is "Aprilväder". You're welcome. 🙂 And no, we don't have corresponding words for the other months. 🙂

What Camera do you guys use?, I used to have a Canon SL2 (sold it ) for my old Channel and ended up using my iphone 8 more. Now I have an iPhone12pro and the videos are choppy 😔. Not sure what to buy now. Anyway, enjoyed this video as always. Moving out next year, and still not sure if I want to buy a townhouse or rent, and travel to Germany and Sweden 😅. Decisions, decisions. Cyber hugs🤍✨✨

We use the combo of an old Sony a5000 and a DJI osmo pocket. They’ve worked well for us, but sure feel like we want an upgrade 😂 oh yea?? We were filming on our iPhones in the beginning and it does make a massive difference when you get an actual camera 🎥 can’t wait to hear more about your adventure!!
