I also travelled through same route and emirates . Just that my layover was 3.5 hour.! Looking at your video reminds me all the things which I missed to cherish because of load of carry heavy hand and cabin bag. I travelled on 15th april . And 4 days back it was also my first snow . Yes 23*2 and 7*1 is standard however generally they allow you to carry a laptop bag as well. I’ve seen people carrying 2-3 bags as they don’t measure the weight of your laptop bag and handbag. Just make sure your stroller doesn’t go over 7kgs.

Hie Just two small query a) do we need a transit visa for dubai b) are the suitcase dimension checked?

You must buy a thru ticket. That is emirates delhi to toronto. Dont buy separate tickets. DXB transit no visa. You dont go out of terminal. Check in baggage 2 x 23 kg. Hand baggage.. they may restrict if oversize. They see and weigh at check in. It has to fit in the overhead locker. We Indians travell with enormous luggage.

Free wifi would be available in Toronto’s airport as well as in the connecting flight’s airport (if applicable). Internet won’t work since you won’t be getting any signal.

Hey there! They won’t ask you to show RTPCR report, but its always recommended to carry one. There’s no separate transit gate, you’ll have to follow the connections path and once you’ll get your gate no. you can wait nearby the gate for boarding to start. Dubai airport is very big but everything is well oriented. There are loads of people directing you to connecting flights and there is also a metro inside the airport to go to all the gates from A (if you’re on B or C) and vice versa. Anyways just follow the signposts and make sure you’re reading the correct gate number for your flight 😃
