Wow, that's a big move. I had no idea you were moving to Addis Ababa. Best of luck!!!

Thanks Matt! Didn't talk about it much outside of immediate family and friends because 1) we didn't want to jinx any part of the process and 2) had SO MUCH to do that there wasn't much time for anything else 3) not invite critism or negativity on something we we're so excited about. Settling in nicely so far 👍🏿

The first couple of weeks are the most challenging ones for people moving there like you. There after you will start enjoying everything. Keep keeping on.

Ha such a coincidence- I have friends in Addis Ababa right now visiting family! So if you ever meet a Mrs. Nahusenay (I know, it's a big city) say hi! Her daughter (my friend) is in the states (getting her PhD at Harvard!!)

Welcome to Ethiopia 🇪🇹 🙌 you will never be disappointed. living in Ethiopia 🇪🇹 because Ethiopia 🇪🇹 has the best organic food and weather and beautiful 😍 people. Beautiful Nature and atmospheres and beautiful culture Ethiopia 🇪🇹 is my beloved country. It is my dream one day to come to live there with my family. But I don't like Boston, I went there about 20 years ago to drop my daughter at wesley College in Wesley massachusetts,then went to visit Boston could find parking, and I almost got shot by racist white Trooper😢

Why eat mac and cheese from a box?! One positive in Ethiopia is eating fresh food. Leave the additives and chemicals behind.

Why did you chose Ethiopia unlike so many English speaking countries in Africa. Nigeria, kenya, Rwanda, Ghana…etc. there’s a high division among ethnic lines language and religious divides. There’s civil war outside Addis Ababa the government is ethnic based and tyrannical. It would be interesting to hear your reasoning.
@RemyBReel2 ай бұрын
All those other things can change. Weather we cannot control. I didn't come here to get involved in the politics - plenty of that in the United States

I am from Ethiopia, but what you hear from media is a lie. Ofc there is a war in western part of Ethiopia, but it ain't civil war. Nothing to fear!

Why you “Eritreans “ immigrating to Ethiopia at mass despite animosity towards Ethiopians? You are closer to Sudan , Djibouti and particularly closer to your adopted country “ Egypt “?
@RemyBReel2 ай бұрын
@Coffee-do1gm ..except I'm not Eritrean. No do I have animosity towards anyone ✌🏿
