Come on dude. First of all you're comparing the entire county of Los Angeles to the City of New York. Then you're only dealing with Manhattan in that comparison. Compare Los Angeles City to New York City which includes all 5 Boroughs not just Manhattan. It is very misleading to say Los Angeles County has 10 million people as if it's the City of Los Angeles. The city itself has about 3.8 million. So only compare the Cities of Los Angeles and New York and don't reduce it to only Manhattan because Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx and Staten Island are also New York City.

@@wilmars9146 that’s fair feedback. So if I redo this video, what other things should I include? I personally don’t have a ton of experience outside of Manhattan. So I would love your insight.

Only if you have serious money. Otherwise you will rent forever

@@agak61 Ellie is a very expensive city however, there are some more affordable areas throughout LA County. There’s also some housing hacks that can help you offset some of your mortgage like buying a duplex and having the other side pay for a big chunk of your mortgage.

@@felipecrook I know ;( I wish I was brave to do it as some people are. I lived there for a long time and wasted a lot of money on rent. Very traumatizing. When you live in LA you are surrounded by people who rent forever thinking it’s normal ;) but it’s not. Life passes and it’s very hard to accept it later but you are left with nothing.
