I'd love to hear and see a follow up video if she's still here. How does she feel about living in Malta through each season since the homes are not central heat and cooling like back in the states. How many different places on the island has she lived in? Does she still feel the same about the Maltese people? If she experienced the medical system and being in the hospital and what she thinks about that, what does she find the most difficult if anything about moving from the states to Malta which is a whole different world. It will be nice to hear from an American perspective.

Thank you for your videos, I was wondering if you could make a video about heating in winter. Do all apartment have good heat? Is it humide and cold inside the apartment in the winter months?
@AlexinMalta2 жыл бұрын
Great topic, Malta is humid in geenral and we use mostly ACs, very rear to find central heating/cooling, only in new lux apartments, malta has a very poor insolation in the buildings so mould in the walls is very common in older buildings

Alex this is an awesome video about the Hidden Gem 💎 which your friend showed it is blessing to SEE basically I would like to visit Malta with my family to visit all the Churches and being a American graduate Pastor I would like to research on it to know how old that Churches are and I would like to visit all 365 plus Churches of Malta as I heard MALTA have 365 plus so kindly make video on Churches too NOT all but some oldest one first but right now I am praying for FUNDS to May we apply but in this video with your American friend who works as a Digital No Mat has given great info it's really helpful to know before exploring Malta as just a tourist destination ONLY which it is NOT, in the END of my comment I would like to say May God bless you both.
@AlexinMalta2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for this beautifuo detailed comment. Yes indeed Malta has 365 churches and i would most likely do a video on them, some if not all. God bless and hope you could visit soon

ALEX - ONE thing I don't see you addressing - What about those of us who want to end up with a PERMANENT VISA or CITIZENSHIP and don"t have 300,000 dollars to invest ?? Am US and Canadian It looks like we can come and work on a work visa, is that unlimited or is there a cut off time ? And what happens when our current ends, can we stay (how long) till we find another job ? Can we at one point apply for a perm visa or citizenship ? Thanks, really like your videos I visited Malta back in 2004 on an american container ship but did not have a lot of time to explore the island.
@leonardell-bon71042 жыл бұрын
You need to extend your working visa every year. There is no cut-off. If you lose your job, you are not automatically out. Also, you need private health care. A permanent visa is more complicated as you need to have a substantial income. If you have a profession/technical/managerial post etc, things can be easier however, you need to apply through your employer as you need to present a contract of employment that shows that you have a good salary that corresponds to your 'much-needed' employment. The system tries to narrow the possibility of people taking advantage of Malta's welfare system, like Canada's but fails miserably and the population is skyrocketing to the detriment of the locals.

@@leonardell-bon7104 NICE Leonard, thanks. SO CONFUSING. I did see that it IS good for one year and renewable. I have a ton of technical skills I hope I can find a great job. Can teach large boat sailing too, I see a lot of boats there. But prefer an inside stable job building things or fixing them Not coming till next year maybe April
@omken2127 Жыл бұрын
I love Malta and believe I'd have no problem qualifying for the nomad visa but as far as I can tell, Unless you have half a million pounds to get residency, you have to leave when your three years are up, no path to residency. Am I missing something?
