Just found your channel yesterday! My partner and I are planning a move up there for early 2025 (march/may). I’ll be digging into your other videos to try to understand better all these names you threw at me in this video. I thought if you had a map it would’ve been helpful lol but maybe I should familiarize myself with all these towns and counties and neighborhoods…. One thing that stood out to me was when you mentioned the proximity to trails/mountains. It makes a world of a difference. When I lived 25min away from the beach here in SoFlo I’d maybe go 3-4 times a month. Now that I’m 7min away, I’m there every week. And with that, I’d love to know what where I should be looking in Fort Collins. Is it just the whole west side? Or should I look at specific areas that might have better access to the mountains? Thanks a lot!!

Hi There! Exciting times ahead! We do have some videos that have maps identifying areas. Sorry we didn’t on this one. It’s hard to make too many suggestions with limited info, BUT, I would say if you want to be within minutes of hiking and trails vs 20-30 minutes, you will want to stay West of US287 (College Ave) and the closer you’re able to get to the foothills, the better. If you’ve been to the area and explored it you may quickly find that there isn’t too much traffic to be TOO restrictive if you find yourself wanting to be on the East side. Hopefully this helps, but if you have any further questions, don’t hesistate to reach out :-)
