Hi Berna, after you study in Norway, you will be given two years of work permit. After working and staying in Norway continuously for two years, you can apply for a Permanent Residency Status. I wish you well!

From UDI, it was stated that you only need double of what u are paying for as a student if u are bringing your family

That requirement is not generic. Thus, it does not apply to all situations. For example; the financial requirement for a family of 3 will not be the same as a family of 5. Thanks!
