Thanks for the excellent video. My fiancée and I are currently living in Washington state, but are looking to move to Paso in the next 1-2 years. We have been looking to buy land in advance to build on, but it is looking more as if we will buy a home already established when the time comes. I have lived in several areas on both coasts, and have been to all 50 states, and I lived in California for 16 years before I moved to Washington. I am well travelled and an American geography expert. I know California very well, and have visited every county. California is very important to me. With that background I say this: SLO county is the sweet spot. Save me a place. Every place has plusses and minuses and SLO is not for everyone, but it is for us. The only downside of course is the terrible housing supply/demand ratio and thus it is very expensive. But worth it, for us at least. Thanks again for the video. It would be better without the background music though.

Hey William thanks for the comment! I don't know what happened with the audio on this one?!?! Our new Living In Paso one is better. I got married to my lovely wife in Seattle! The NW is amazing but in the end I do prefer CA. Hope to meet you in person one day soon!

@ We will make it soon enough I hope. Some family issues here we need to help with/wait out. Then sell our homes and we are on our way. I’m down there a couple times a year for vacations and to look at properties.
