I live in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and I agree ....Great place to raise kids, job opportunities exist with less competition but like all places, requires a lot of patience. Opportunities for self development exists, and hardwork gets rewarded. Very well planned city and neighbourhoods, low cost of living!

I was in HR in my home country and I'm still in HR in Canada.

@@SmallTalkWithFaith the reason why I asked, I keep hearing stories about janitors who used to be in the technician/engineering field or a cashier ... but when they migrated they came as a PHD or a bachelor holder with experience, why are they being treated like uneducated ? .... is that common in Canada? ... did the immigration system failed to take advantage of the immigrants exp ?

That's not entirely true. Cases like that are few and far between. Canada takes account of previous experiences and so many immigrants get jobs in there fields after landing. Everyone's journey is different but my advise is to focus on the success stories and focus on the positive.

@@SmallTalkWithFaith Faith, I am not sure if you live in Toronto or the GTA, but North Western Ontario which is 80% of the province, has a population of 250,000, so Ontario is not just Southern Ontario. NWO gets minus 40 and minus 50 degrees. Ontario is the second largest province as you may be aware. It's takes up to 20 hours or more to drive from the Toronto to the Ontario border with Manitoba. I have lived in these areas of Ontario for 12years. Let your guest know more about Ontario, it's not just Southern Ontario.
