I totally forgot I’m sorry!! I don’t follow basketball as well but I’ve been to a Storm game so that’s silly of me to forget. 😅

Monica, what an interesting vlog about buying homes in the Seattle area. You seem so comfortable in front of the camera and it shows how well you are. Thank you

For a quick weekend excursion, its only a 2.5 hour drive from Seattle to Vancouver,BC.Getting into Canada from the US is quick and easy, but there is always a long line coming back into the US from Canada.

Cap gains law is written maliciously and doesn’t include your short term losses. For example if you have have a long term gain $500k, but you have $240k short term losses your federal long term gain is $260k and you pay about 23% or about $60k in federal tax but you also pay 7% of $240k which an extra $16k on gains you actually didn’t have

I know you've talked about it in an older video, but you forgot to mention the infamous Seattle Freeze 😌

I think to your point Seattle might be a very walkable city in terms of accessibility (you mentioned bridges/overpasses) But if we're talking the ratio of time/distance to "things" in a city, the most walkable city is hands down NYC, not even close
@MonicaChurch9 сағат бұрын
Yes that’s a great point! The definition I was thinking about was very different. I agree NYC is hands down the most walkable in those terms.

Pro tip. It's not the Puget Sound. It's Puget Sound. You wouldn't say the lake Michigan!

I do love condos but hate the HOAs. Love/Hate for sure...if lots of amenties, fine, but if I'm not using them, why not have lower rates?

I know I could do a google search, but what is the weather like there? I'm North dakotan so I'm not too worried about winter but just interested in the difference if there is any.

SF is more walkable than Seattle. The surrounding water makes Seattle so gorgeous.
@kwang8440413 сағат бұрын
Just avoid tenderloin and downtown SF.Suburbs in SF are still really nice.
@genxtechguy11 сағат бұрын
I think the Seattle waterfront has really leveled up with all the new development from Pike Place, the new aquarium, the boardwalk, the great wheel, cruise ships, the ferries coming and going. In the summer, it’s quite magical. Arguably better than SF now.

I like living in south Florida bow I live in Joshua Tree. but if I could afford to move back to Cape Coral Florida I would in a heart beat. the weather in Seattle is too cloudy and cold. makes me depressed. Kurt Cobain killed himself in Seattle

@genxtechguy Let's hope Adam Silver approves Seattle as an NBA expansion team city.Then there would be a renewed, Pacific northwest rivalry between the new Sonics and the Portland Trailblazers.

Th waterway that connects Puget Sound to Lake Union and Lake Washington is actually called The Lake Washington Ship Canal.
