I’m gonna record a video regarding costs, be on the lookout for it in the next two weeks or so. We fortunately didn’t have quarantine so I didn’t incur any costs relating to that and current masks aren’t mandatory but they were mandatory at Orientation.

4 months later😱.Your patience has been rewarded. Not an easy journey now I understand your excitement because I started with your Orientation video. I am a very impatient person, I would die from anxiety just waiting😅. So I will start early. How long does the police clearance stay valid for? Since it take 100 years to come out!

My patience has really been rewarded yoh 😭 It does teach you patience and there’s literally nothing you can do but wait so you wait. The Police Clearance is valid for 6 months from date of issue.

I applied during the main intake but for my preference in terms of when to arrive I said flexible hence I was placed for the April intake.

On the Typo website it’s under personalized; you can choose the size of the diary and colour of the font. I also believe the service available in store, I once personalized an A5 in store but they don’t have different colours in store.

Thank you so much 🥹🥰. We booked the hotel ourselves but if you apply with one of the agencies the agency may book the hotel for you if I’m not mistaken, I was a direct applicant. We knew each other from WhatsApp and only officially met at OR Tambo on the departure day.

Hi there Reba🌸 for the visa can I apply online or have to go to Pretoria to apply? I'm from Cape Town. I must do an interview with SPEP in Seoul so it's still beginning stages but would just like to know if there's only a Korean embassy in Pretoria?

Hi Masoodah 😊 I don’t know if the Korean Embassy in Pretoria is the only one but I believe it is. You can’t apply online because they need your passport and actual photos, you can courier your documents to the Korean Embassy in Pretoria with cash inside or send someone to submit and collect for you. Best bet would be to send someone as you can never be too sure with couriers. All the best with your interview and I hope you’ll come to Korea soon! 😊

There is, you apply with the main intake and get an option to choose when you’d like to arrive between Feb-April but in my case I chose flexible but due to delayed documents I arrived in April.

@Reba M. I didn't apply coz of my PCC I always thought you apply once everything is sorted I'm surprised that you still had outstanding documents when they took you

My PCC was delayed but I guess due to the fact that my preference was flexible then it made sense to be placed for the April intake. I also disclosed it during the interview that my PCC is delayed and kept them updated as and when I followed up.

Hey. There is no direct flight from South Africa to South Korea, it was a connecting flight. You only pay once and once you check in your bags in South Africa you get them at South Korea.

Hey. I took medication I knew I would need and work best for me, just make sure it doesn’t have codiene. I took cough syrup, something for period pains, indigestion, allergy pills, something for the throat and I don’t remember what else. You can actually tell the pharmacist that you’re traveling and you want specific medication but it mustn’t have codiene. I hope this helps.
