This is a very underrated movie. I think it was meant to be a star vehicle for the main character which might be why it didn’t go great A friend of mine had seen it and we rented it on VHS at least a dozen times. Love the ending when sally kellerman ends up on the parade float and says “fricken mouse, outta my way fricken clown, fricken duck”

He got him demoted when the male cop thought it was Dana's car parked in front of the Fire Hydrant the 2 cops destroyed the car in rage because Dana was smarting off to them but it was their Chief's car Not Dana's and the Chief demoted them both and this was punishment .
