Congratulations on the new apt! I looks so good!! I don’t think the issue is the table but rather the chairs, I think you need chairs with arms that will tuck under the table better so it doesn’t take as much space when not in use. Goodluck! 🎉

Mom know best! Table against the wall, yes! Also, hear me out, but using the section of the hallway shelving closest to the kitchen as pantry would give you extra storage & you could get some sort of shade or something that pulls down to cover it so your food isn't on display. Also, what about framed art in some of the larger hallway shelf openings so you need not fill them all up with things that will be a pain to dust, and yet, have it look pretty. 😊

I said this on insta too, but I think you could swap the chairs at your table with wishbone chairs! That way you can push in the chairs flush with the round table. I think the table can work, but the chairs you have make it seem more crowded.

I would take out the barstool by the wall, push the table to the wall, and have the two table chairs going the other way so one in place of the removed barstool and the other by the couch. More functional and less cramped.

Switch the couch to face the windows. Catty corner the console where your plant currently is at the corner or the two windows and set the tv on its stand on the console. The dining room table will have more room now where it is behind the island.

Btw! Get a black drying rack, the stainless steel ones rust so quickly!

For the bathroom under the sink get cabinet type of drawers that come out they are useful plus they give you more storage space or a under the skin organizer type of drawer like those mesh ones that are seen usually for cleaning supplies but they could be used for your beauty products

The curtain tracks are ceiling mounted curtain tracks and you can either find them on Amazon or at IKEA for a pretty reasonable price ❤ love your new home girly xo

Congrats on the move! Makes the other apartment u we’re gonna move into a faint memory as this one is you. Hey I know you love the table but have you thought about changing the shape? Do they have that version in maybe a rectangle cause it can go against the window near that wall or where u have the current one? In terms of flow maybe slightly skinnier may be helpful. Also curtain rods… bigger/sturdier may be better but you also may need to put multiple anchors (like you bought) and ensure it’s drilled into a stud wall or secured with an anchor bit or it warps over time. I learned this the hard way when my entire closet fell :)

You could try moving the plant by the couch somewhere else so the couch and table could go over closer to the windows. Maybe that would help you feel like it is less crowded in that area by the bar. Love you

In the house vlogs are my favorite for fall, hauls, organization and getting your life together. Thanks for sharing, the APT looks amazing, the organizing crew did they thing🤌🏾😍. You need to get a steam mop, Dawn power wash,scrub daddies and barkeepers friend cleaning solution. I am a clean freak so this stuff excites me🤣🤣🤣. You should move the dining table against the same wall as the tv console by the opening in the wall! You can place it against the wall and two chairs (or even three) around the table, it will make the space between the island and the living room less crowded and allows you to keep the table :))

Be careful if you put a white mat under the wood bath mat! Those wood ones are good because they're open so any water that spills under will just evaporate, if you put a white one under the water might get trapped & wont dry because it'll be closed in by the wood mat, could get gross & moldy after a while!
