You don't need the table runner with your beige placemats, it's overkill. Much better seeing the texture of the marble. A wooden board, a narrow rattan or jute placemat are possible options to use in the centre of the table . Stay with this neutral palette for now ..adding items as needed that all work well together. It works best with your clean, modern style. pink ...meh..., green bottle....can live without.. too much of a gadget

I’m so thrilled you are out of the dust and noise! How you’ve lasted this long is amazing! Unpacking will hopefully allow you to feel a bit more settled with a few of your familiar things around. ☺️😊🥰 I grew up using cloth napkins for every meal, so it’s my normal. Not only is it kinder to the environment and very sustainable but to me it just makes everything feel nicer than a paper napkin. A few top tips... I think a dark burgundy napkin to match the wavy trim on the pink placement would be a great investment. I like napkins in reds and burgundies when serving any sort of “red” food... e.g. marinara, salsa, ketchup, chili, BBQ, etc. because it breaks my heart a bit to have one of my lovely, lighter, neutral napkins stained with a “red” food. Plus the darker red tones are a great pop of color any day, even though my decor is more neutrals, but also perfectly suited for Christmas and Valentine’s Day! You can go all out as desired. I have a lot of red bandanas I like to use for casual BBQs, cookouts or picnic style meals/gatherings. Get as fun as you want for any season or occasion, wash and reuse for years and years to come! The only drawback of using sustainable cloth napkins is having a proper place to store them (and ironing 😩🙃🤦🏻‍♀️)! I have several large drawers dedicated to placemats, tablecloths and napkins. But these things are necessary because I love a beautifully set table and over the years you can accumulate quite a variety! 😉☺️😊 Dishes are a very personal preference but I don’t think you can ever go wrong with white dishes. Food tends to be most appealing being the star on a white background and why most restaurants present their food on white dishes! I have several sets of different whites that can easily be intermixed and let the textures and shapes compliment each other. You can mix traditional with contemporary, plain with texture and it always works. Just have fun with it and every meal can look lovely! 😀😃😍

I have like 5 spare bottles if dryshampoo. Have been debating for months to get rid of them. Haven't used any in months and months. Will be waiting for winter. Maybe I do decide to actually wear me hair straight again in winter and will need it - because dryshampoo on curly hair is not it 😂
