The apartment actually looks so cute and if you decorate it for Christmas…..that’s gonna make it super festive. Idk why, but something about older modeled homes being decorated for Christmas especially here in NY whether it’s an apartment or a house…..it just gives that olden day Christmas vibe like what we would see in 1900’s Christmas portraits (not the 2000’s)

Here’s an idea. Buy 6 nice gold hooks and put them on the wall either behind the door or the wall when you open the door straight ahead. To hang the coats on that you use the most and then get a shoe rack under it. You probably do not need to open the door all the way to come in. If you need to bring something big in move the shoe rack. And your be white coat cabinet put it right inside the door on the wall when you come into your apartment. And take the book case that was left there and see if you can fit it in the clothes closet. You also could get those shoe holders and put on the wall behind closet door and put you tiny shirts in them and free up more space. Happy for you!!

You should definitely look into the bessa shoe cabinet from IKEA for your entry area!! great shoe compartment while also not looking like shoes! And i use it to put my key holder & just an entry table!!🤗

Don’t have stuff blocking the ac vent w those little acs you can’t have anything blocking them or it will be hot - have a little fan near it blasting the ac air out towards the room it helps a lot!!

Ok had the same AC issue and my super told me to not turn it on if the outside air is colder than the temp I would want my AC at. Idk the science behind it but it has to do with the boiler or SOMETHING. I’ve kept my AC off and opened a window and it has changed my life
