We know because sometimes we do actually feel when the plates are moving. That’s what causes most earthquakes. For example Haiti sits near the intersection of two tectonic plates, where there a many fault lines that’s they always get earthquakes. Also when these plate move in an are that is mostly water like the ocean, the resulting earthquake tsunamis like that big one that happened in 2004.

As Muslims we also believe prophet Jesus will return and rule the entire world for 40 years. The main difference between Christianity and Islam is that Islam absolutely rejects Jesus being the begotten son of God. It's a major sin to utter such a statement in Islam.
