Mowing long grass with the Gravely ZT XL 42"

Just over a months ago I bought a Bad Boy Rambler, 42", 22HP Kohler. It's been very dry here and only cut our 2/3 acre lot once and the grass wasn't anywhere near as thick and tall as what you mowed in this video. I hope when it does get taller and thicker, the Bad Boy performs as well as your Gravely.

after cutting tall grass like this, raise the deck to transport position , then mow cross direction that will get rid of clumps and spread the clippings better

Honestly, that mower made me lots of money and saved me plenty of time with a good quality of cut. (3 blade system on a 42”) with very little problems besides a starter motor. I’d buy one again if I was just starting out again.

Jesse Rousseau the Gravely has been fantastic! It’s got 550hours on it and saves lots of time. Also have a look at the Toro’s as they are a fantastic mower 👍🏻
