I have a cub cadet. Bought it used in 2015, only thing ive ever had to do was regular maintenance, 2 new tires, and 1 belt. Thats it. It never lets me down. I mow an acre, twice a week from spring through late fall. I love that thing. When it dies, it owes me nothing! I will buy new when that time comes.

Looks like a darn good backup machine, and a very useful one for smaller spaces the Cheetah can't get to even when she's healthy.

@@bradolsen8629 Oh, it's hard to say which one is the backup for which. I don't know yet. Right now the backup is the Snapper, which is running quite nice right now. :)

Just giving you a heads up I have the same mower One of the drive motors went out they wouldn't warranty it because they said I was cutting too long of grass The thing with it is what you're cutting there is probably the tallest I've ever cut

The Great Dane has a blown head gasket. And now the Cheetah has electrical issues. Gotta keep mowing though, so here's another mower... In other news, the 48" Snapper is running perfectly and I think I'll post some videos with it.

I am new to riding lawnmowers and just purchased a ZT1 50. I have so many questions but I’ll jus ask two. Do I need a bagger or do I just mulch the grass? Also, how are several brand new baggers for ZT1 46, will they fit on the 50, if not, why is that? Thanks.

I don't know about the baggers. In Florida we don't use them because grass decomposes very quickly here.

Forget the warranty. Unless you buy from a dealer you could wait up to 3 month before they look at. Cub cadet does not handle warranty work it is all handled by the dealers. Good luck with that/

Hey, curiosity question if you don't mind me asking. Why do you have so many mowers? Is it a hobby/collection? Or do you actually use them all as you mow client yards? I would figure you would only need the beast of a cheetah, and maybe something small for slipping in gates and such. But, I'm also not a landscaper! So I don't know.

Mowers break constantly, and during the summer there is limited time to fix them. You need to be able to just dump a mower at home, pick a different one that's running, and get back to work. Also I do a lot of reviews for companies. When the review is completed, I get to keep the mower. There are quite a few of them over here.

No, these are Oregon Gator G5 blades, just 2 of them.

Yep. Sometimes you just have to turn off the blade, reach down and pull up the chute, then drive through a gate. But I'm going through gates that are actually much closer to about 42 inches with this. 48 is no problem.

Yes, Florida, and we do mow all year long. The bahia yards go dormant but the St Augustine yards do not.

It’s actually in the owners manual they are made to operate at full throttle which he is doing any further would be on choke this mower does not have a separate choke lever
