Just ordered a pair from ebay...the pink and yellow were reduced to £51.99 (cheaper than any of the sexond hand pairs!) And with free next day delivery. I chose yellow. Id been looking at rookies, but the adjustable stop, and aluminium plate on the moxis made my mind up....and price of course. The rainbow design gives retro vibes....rather than pride flag vibes, which i was glad about. Im 55, havent skated since the early 80s., a bit nervous...but very excited to try them

I suppose there will always be faulty sets out there that's just part for the course. These are just entry level skates. So if they've been used in a performance type way, dance, skate park, speed or anything like that then they just ain't built for that. But if all you've done is go round in circles learning. Gotta just be bad luck on that set. 😀

so which did you think seemed best value for money for quality etc? The Moxi Rainbow, Signature or Rookie Artistic?

I have to say the Rookie and the Rainbow rider are very close. As are the Signature. Its a tough call as there are so many good and bad in each. Moxi has the brand lead at the moment, retro look etc. Rookie has the same sort of build and material with the more classic artistic look. Where Rio signature are that comfortable stable skate built for comfort and reliability. If someone came to me with £100 budget, I'd get these 3 put on the table and say here you go. All entry level good quality skates for the money. ♥️🛼🛼

Do the skates come with tools to adjust the skates?

Very rarely some put in a small tool but it depends the brand. Even at that it does seem to be a hit an a miss if there is one in a box.
