Good job on the design of the alien creature. The movement of the alien could use some work, may I suggest: motion capture? It will make your creature have a more organic, more natural look as it moves over the terrain. Also, have a reason for why people and aliens and things in motion have a reason for doing what they are doing on screen. Why does the alien stop, spread its arms and scream at the humans, why was the armored vehicle with the heavy weaponary abandoned, why are the soldiers shooting out in the open instead of from behind cover, etc.

It had everything to be a cool scifi movie. But they lost me when they had this overpowered indestructible alien being shot at by many soldiers. I remembered the cutscenes of Mechwarrior 5 Clans that are way cooler than this. At least Mechwarrior 5 Clans have cool stompy robots and real acting.
