Your gardens are a breath of fresh air! I never get tired of seeing all of the beauty that abounds in your landscape. The brown spots in the lawn don't really matter, and I also feel that people who only see the flaws also miss seeing the true beauty. The friend and neighbor who moved to Florida gifted some gems to you and your wife to enjoy, and you'll always remember her. What a blessing! Thanks for sharing your lovely garden with us... count me in on any and every one of your garden tours! ~Margie

I love your videos. I've been a perennial gardener for 29yrs. Not only new gardeners will look at your channel, we all can learn from each other. And it's a joy to see what each other are growing. My garden is my therapy. I have a huge flower garden. Don't let it be a burden. Don't let the imperfections bother you. It's God's gift to you. All these flowers origin grow naturally somewhere on earth. Look at old videos of Lark's Garden. It will relax you and let you know all gardens are not weeded to perfection but they are all beautiful

Even though you have alot of flowers, plants,shrubs, and small trees it looks great,.ihave been a gardener for over 50yrs.it takes time to get the look you want.people say ihave a beautiful yard and garden,nevertheless,some yrs.they look better than other.its alot,but rewarding,with sqirrels,rabbits,around and I live in the city limits of my towns,then I have aDog,a Yorkie, who love to chase the squirrels, and rabbits. It is a rewarding job. Because you don't feel like doing things in the garden but the rewards and the relief of stress ,is why I love gardening .if not iwouldnt have been doing this for (5)decades. Ilove God beauty. you love his beauty on earth.you say so many things I agree with in your videos.

Even experienced gardeners talk about trials and tribulations to gardening. I think hard work is worth it whether you view it as a hobby or work. Once you get your garden to a certain level, it’s just about maintenance.
@veronicaboydwash32653 жыл бұрын
Yes,it's about maintenance, adding some things. &sometimes just leaving things alone !neverthless I love using seeds alot,especially for my sunflowers, I love my giant ones,they are a show stopper, but I have had perennial in my garden for years,and love seeing hostas,iris.daylilies and others come back up each year because annuals have gotten really expensive, I use them, but iam blessed to have also in my yard hollies,a.beauiful Dwarf Japanese Maple bush, which is realy beauiful this year. Peonies, which comes back each spring.my yard isnt huge ,not junky, or look cluttered. Its a wrought iron fence around the property ,and on a corner lot !that and the beautiful landscape, made me purchase it over 20yrs.ago.and I was also blessed to put my gardening skills to reflect my style.

My backyard backs up to a pond and I have a critter that tunnels up into my yard and eats the roots of stuff. At first I thought I was doing something wrong until I dug up a plant and saw the tunnel and the eaten roots. Then I walked along the tunnel and it caved in all the way to the pond. Happened in several places. Finally we came up with an Idea of digging a trench the length of the yard 16" deep and put bags of rocks in it covered it with dirt and put the sod back over. So far so good. We've had people say to kill it or set a trap but we moved into their space so we had to come up with a different solution. Rabbits, Deer and whatever else were there first so.... We just roll with it. There's a lot to choose from on the other side of the pond so It's not like everything in my yard is being destroyed. Just had crimes of opportunity occur. lol
