Looking forward to ice shot build updates - I've been tweaking around my ice shot build basically since week 1 and your build guides for it definitely helped a lot especially with my boss damage. What I'm running now is a 150 spirit setup with weapon swap - I have grim feast, wind dancer and ghost dance + double heralds on my weapon set 1 for clear, with a standard damage bow & quiver (mana on kill on the quiver is super nice for mapping weapon set), then for weapon set 2 I disable both heralds and grim feast and enable cast on crit, and the 2nd bow has a juicy +crit chance affix and the quiver has crit chance & damage. The clear is good enough for juiced delirium breaches without even heavily scaling my crit (set 1 has 11% cc and 421% cd when sitting in hideout, set 2 similar CD but 26% cc). I could even do weapon set passives to get more AOE/herald damage on set 1 and more crit/boss damage on set 2 but haven't bothered with that. I have a high ES helmet with subterfuge mask and a bit of max ES % on jewels so I have 730 ES, up to 1460 with grim feast active, 84% evasion with acro. I dropped tornado to fit the extra skills cause I felt I wasn't getting a ton of value from it usually. Overall the setup feels pretty comfy.

Its great for clearing, but you do want enough single target cold damage on rod to freeze bosses. Heralds dont proc in single target

@moxsy im having a blast leveling your noncrit lightning arrow on solo self found. Im doing some changes there but so far works pretty well. However think you could maybe touch your ideas on solo self found rules eith this build? Maybe loot prio when you cant just buy great stuff and you have to work your way up to drop the unique gloves? Maybe even some passive talent tree tips until you get a piece we are looking for, what bow bases are good to craft?

I run mainly cold damage on my rings, with breach rings you can HEAPS, then mainly phys and lightning on my quiver as you need more lightning than cold when you swap to thief’s ring for max level bosses

Was levelling using Raxx's guide on the lightning arrow which has been great, but haven't seen a guide that explains well how to push that version to the end game yet so seeing this has helped me out loads on how to push my build, thanks Moxsy. One question I'm not getting, why are we using physical damage on bow and not spec into more lightning damage for lightening arrow?

You have me at a point of conflicting. I have the wisdom gloves… a head hunter. Thief’s torment (for later). As well as a decently early end game bow/quiver. 1800 Es chest. And really good rings with % lightning on it. Man I kind of want to sell a bunch and go crit. But I only have 7 div currently :/

Agreed. My character is pretty geared with about 90% of what Moxsy has on his set up, minus a few of his jewels and less crit on my bow but more physical damage. And herald of ice still never procs, I also have more cold damage on my quiver and rings than his does. I don’t understand how this stuff works. I just went all in on lightning again and it’s fine.

the issue for me is losing my dps on LA with switching to cold. I can freeze them but I need to shoot them sometime 2 more times to shatter, which is just annoying. Getting a high dps bow is absolutely the highest priority aswell...while also having cold dmg on it...and those bows are very expensive

i was able to fix my build yesterday :) got a new quiver with higher cold damage and since i cant afford the gloves i also went for new gloves with cold dmg on it :) now everything shatters like a charm :D Mana problems in Maps are also fixed since my new quiver got 23 mana on kill :D feels a lot better now :) just noticed you run eye of the winter, thats something i dont have :D maybe i will give this a try for the debuff :D guess my next upgrade will be a new amulett with higher resists and then aim for that gloves (in case they dont get nerfed) for a bigger damage boost :D right now 2k Life, 1,5k ES (with grim feast stacked) and 90% evade without acrobatic :) didn't die so much lately but in case it gets more i will also try out acrobatics :D thanks for the nice guides and feedback to comments! :)

Yeah, good luck buying those magic (corruped)/rare jewels with 15% bonus gain from quiver for 25+ divines. Oh, and don't forget about the 70+ divine for 1 Adorn. 😂

I have a bow on sale with 3.7 crit chance, 35 crit damage, attack speed, 130 something increased physical and lightning.. Effectively with a decent set up it gives 50000 damage. I put it on sale for 15 divines.. Its worth 10 to be honest but no bow on sale has crit chance and crit damage with attack speed. Basicaly all the right stats...I can only sell it for 15 d.. So i can add 15d and look for another one.. Or waste resources on gambling/crafting one..

It’s a spirit skill so you need a spirit gem

Not build related, but is there a chance for a video on your farming setup and how to get more currency? I saw a lot of shit online from other content creators and I tried to go for breaches, stacked towers and breach tablets, killed xesht twice and got 4 points for the tree but the drops don’t seem to improve in any significant way…I got 7 breach fragments with 96% increased breach fragment drop rate ffs. I hardly ever see any divines, had a 3 breaches map today and got a few exalts out of them.

Dont listen to anyone telling you to get more magic find. 100 is enough. From there you want as much quantity of items found modifiers on your tablets. Make sure you sell good items . Im at 100 div now and almost all of it comes from trading good pieces i find.

I sort of gave up on that idea…I know that divines are kinda borked on the market so I always make sure to not look at items and be like “oh it’s one div” and just put that. I even try to undersell, say if i have an item that starts at 40 ex I put it at 20 or 15, still doesn’t sell, not sure what I’m doing wrong.

damn xD the Unique Gloves cost 50 exalted to 1 divine. i have over 200 hours in the game and never saw a divine orb and im definitely under 50 exalted orb drops.

regular bow attack sockets you get from levels on your character. you get the last socket at level 90. jeweller orbs have no effect on basic attack skills.

My friend you are using the wrong quiver!!! Use the one with attack speed it can roll with 2 x attack skill rolls). It can add 20attack speed on it that will boost your lightning arrow damage sooo much!

Its a fires an additional arrow stat on the bow including the one that comes on the dualstring originally...i think it's a suffix

Sorry, but crit is bait on deadeye. You are giving up a ton of survivability and crit nodes takes up too much points. Base crit chance for bows is 5% compared to 10-20% for other weapons and spells, making it significantly worst to stack crit chance. You will never get 100% crit in maps and are significantly worst in maps with crit immunity, while the potential to getting 1 shotted is much higher going crit. DPS wise it's not even a upgrade. You're previous testing is flawed and using 1 exalted subpar non crit gear vs mirrored 100 Divine crit gear while being significantly more likely to die isn't optimal testing.

Honestly i dont know how you guys do it, dropped gear is always shitty, never usable and trading is basically nonexistent, nobody responds and i cant get better gear. Basically stucked. Sorry not sorry, but having this in mind, game is simply bad. Yes, shocking, it can be fixed thou, simple in game trading like every normal online games have would resolve basically 90% of issues/complains. Shitty drop, rng, slams? No problem, grind some currency and buy stuff. Oh wait, cant do that now ;)

Crazy build. But it pops even harder without the mana issues 😂😂 just use 40% less mana cost gem on lightning arrow and pair it either with torment or some mana on kill. Even in T18 maps absolutely nothing survives. One rare pushes DPS to like... 200k? Ridiculous.
