Moyen and Standard Poodle Comparison

Up close and personal with my 16 week old Moyen poodle. Im trying to upload more videos of what Moyen poodles are like to help others researching these dogs. By definition a Moyen Poodle is a very small standard poodle. They are larger than minis but smaller than most standard poodles.

I have two Moyen/border collie crosses. They each are 16” tall and weigh 33-35 lbs. They are unbelievable smart and trainable. It is my impression that the smaller poodles have much more focus than the standards. Both do agility and have extremely strong (border collie) focus but they also have the most playful and engaging temperaments imaginable. Not really for beginners as they want so much attention but just fantastic animals.

I'm following closely because I think my standard Teddy who is 16weeks is a moyen. He was only 8lbs at 12weeks! We get weighed tomorrow at the vet

I'm looking for reputable breeder of Moyem Poodle. I just lost my beautiful standard poodle to a cancer and I'd have a standard again but due to some circumstances I need a smaller dog. 30lb of less would be great. Of course poodle and only pure poodle for me.

Question: Since the Moyen is basically a small Standard, is the personality also similar to a Standard?

Bigger are mellow , smaller - more hyper
