There is actually no 2x2 on the outside, the large corners are a part of the 3x3 mechanism and have been extended to a point where it bandages and shapeshifts and hides the pieces next to it. When I figured this out all I had to do was to solve it using a corners first variant i came up with, which solves the corners colours and shape at the same time with only needing one alg (F R U R' U' F'). After that it is just intuitive edge building and when there is 2 flipped edges left then just use (M2 U M' U M' U M' U2 M' U M' U M' U)

Actually the alg mentioned above is a very common 3x3 alg to orientation of the edge pieces in the last layer

@@cuberstu those cheeky shape shifters it’s always the way causing tears just to get it back to a cubic form. It’s good that they’re cheap but I’ll have to take the chips I’ve promised myself to stop collecting for awhile. Was interesting watching the solve though as always excellent work

UPDATE: I solved it! I needed to do an anti-clockwise flipping algorithm then a regular clockwise algorithm and the cube was solved. Note to others: when doing any of the 3x3 algorithms make sure you are holding the cube with the yellow side either facing you or facing the ceiling. I held the cube with yellow on the left and ended up messing up the white cross, which took me another 30 minutes to fix! Thanks for an easy to follow tutorial on a very challenging puzzle! Original post: I ended up with most of the cube solved except I have 2 adjacent edges that need to be flipped (they are in the correct location, just need to be flipped) and none of the 3 cycle algorithms seem to work. Please help me!

The tutorial is very helpful. In the description you have given that the flip for clockwise and anticlockwise is FU/LU Flip and FU/RU Flip. That should be swapped. Though the algorithms that you have given is correct. And, the text in the video is correct as well.

There are shorter algorithms for swapping big blocks and L-shaped blocks. Holding the big binding block on your front-down-left side, you can do: R U2 R' U R' B' U2 R2 U' B' - swap the other two big blocks on the front side U2 R B2 R' B R B2 R2 U R U - swap the two L-shaped blocks on the upper side

You will have to do an alg creates other flipped pieces, fixing them untill you only have 3 left.

Bro I'm having problem in swapping, I have to swap just 2 pieces on orange and 2 pieces on yellow side, what combination of algorithms should I use because algorithm cycles 3 pieces at a time

That's the rub! Using a U Perm you can only change 3 at a time so you will have to fix one piece keeping 2 in that move incorrect but close to the one remaining unfixed cubie. Leaving you 3 to swap 🤯

Thanks brother now I solved it, then just to be sure I solved it again. I swap all the edges and try to bring down last three edges around the smallest corner and use your method. There aren't much tutorials for puppet cube and you were the only one whom I catch upto. Thank you soo much and excuse me for my incorrect english (it isn't my first language).
