The best and most helpful video on the Air2. I have watched at least 7 different videos on the gimbal and yours is the BEST! Well explained, excellent demos and you told us info in clear language. Thank you. And yes I have subscribed, I want to help you get that tattoo.

Hey! thanks for sharing. You went a bit way too fast for me there.. I just can't figure out HOW TO BALANCE THE ROLL THING? IT always comes in the way. Like what you're doing at 3:47. The Gimbal's base rod, the Last Pan axis is coming in the way, and roll axis can't just go about it. IS IT NORMAL? Don't we want our gimbal to be able to just go round n round and round? A quick reply will be highly appreciated. I need to see if I need to return the gimbal ? :( :( :(

I think I balanced the camera, but every time I start using the buttons after calibrating it goes into sleep mode. The only way to get out of sleep mode seems to be turning it off and back on again. I can seem to figure this out.

You should be able to tilt the camera any which way and it should move. If it does, you need to rebalance

One thing about the batteries. If you are not going to use this gimbal for a while, take out the batteries. If you don’t, the batteries will slowly drain to zero volts, and if they stay at zero volts for a while, they will not take a charge, and you will have to buy new batteries.

Make sure the camera is properly balanced and also make sure that you don’t have it locked. I hope this helps. If you still have issues let me know.

I got one of these about a year and half ago....it was $600 at the time. Hardly EVER used. Think on one job. So i had a job a few days ago...charge up the batteries full and balance the camera to get ready....After a little while the whole thing starts vibrating...with my camera on it...have a small camera Sony A6400. Called B&H for a US customer service number...their "gudsons".number doesn't work. I emailed Gudson - after a few days they get back to me....OK..."send serial, bill of sale and "video". A video. So i try to do a video and this time looks like the unit isn't vibrating so i say wow...maybe somehow the problem went away - few seconds later the gimbal arms go dead....just like that. Powers up and falls down. Thank God i was smart enough not to mount my camera on the second time. Guys, when these things fail you can whack your valuable lens/gear good on these devices...So now they send me a "firmware update" link....doesn't work ....the device doesn't want to go into "boot mode". Firmware updates generally have to do with how a device interfaces with an operating system or another device...has nothing to do with general failures....$550 right into the friggin toilet....I"m going to correct this post if i'm wrong but it looks like these guys are selling these types of devices all over the states but dont' even have a customer service number or repair vendor locally...Fucking unreal....These are sophisticated devices - with firmware/software motors....very hard to solve and describe a problem over emails....They sell gimbals...new technology....but they conduct their customer support over email/no phone/ no chat....and you wait for days before they respond...God forbid you need for a job....

If it was shaking then turning off then you didn’t balance the camera correctly. If you have your camera on it and it just shakes, that means you have to tune the motors. If the motors are supplying too much power to each axis then it’ll start to shake
@robertleger49864 жыл бұрын
@@LoveTheBasics No --i' had it perfectly balanced actually. i can try to tune, I definitely did the autotune. These guys really should have a customer support line though. So that i don't have to look around all over the place for answers. They either got to put up or shut up. Either put product up in our country and offer reasonable support and service, or get the hell out and sell over there. I'm going to contact a buyer at B &H and ask him why this vendor isn't supplying a customer service number for their customers. In my case it was shaking at first, now it just powers off and shuts off power to the gimbal; imagine if you have a $2000 lens attached when it does that. Bang, metal to metal. This is money we're talking about here. I dont' have toy cameras. Don't want anyone's product to bang my good stuff around. I don't even want to attach my gear to it now, dont' trust it. Really don't. I 'm going to try to fix this one get rid of it and go with the DJI RoninSC. DJI seems to have MUCH better customer support, at least the website is set up properly. How to contact: phone /email / chat. Looks like the site is done right. www.dji.com/support Gudson a different story, took them a few days to get back to my email. And to think that i paid $600 for this thing a year and a half ago with no damn case, and hardly has been used. And now they're selling for $430 with case. Bought for $600 new in mid 2019. I'll probably at best have to sell for $250- $300 minus what i have to pay for F*& repairs. Garbage product everything considered. This wasn't an inexpensive product. Almost have to consider throwing away, considering the time wasted in contacting, trying the firmware etc.

holy f*ck ive been trying 2 rebalance this thing all week and it was actually just that i had the wrong motor setting! had to go gimbal set, motor, power, level and then change it until the vibrating stops
